PLA Media is proud to welcome international sensation Jordan Asher to its award-winning roster. Hailing from sunny California and based in Nashville, TN, Asher grew up in a music-loving family. With a drummer for a father, Asher was destined for a career in music, something he knew as early as eight years old. He went on to overcome great life challenges such as homelessness at a young age. Through a stroke of luck and a touch of greatness, Asher joined the Miles Schon band (son of Neal Schon of Journey) and shortly after was introduced to visionary producer, recording artist and audio engineer Alan Parsons (The Beatles, Pink Floyd).
Impressed with Asher’s raw talent, Parsons added a song Jordan wrote to his 2019 album, The Secret, and also invited him to be the lead vocalist for the recording. Following the completion of that album, Parsons then invited Asher to join his international tour as a featured vocalist for the entirety of the year. The pair continued to make music together, collaborating on multiple songs including Parsons’ The NeverEnding Show and Asher’s songs Father, Funny Enough, and Beautiful Torture.
The pair also performed together on the music video for The NeverEnding Show. The song and video’s global debut was filmed and streamed live at the Musicians Hall of Fame. The event was hosted by Joe Bonamassa (three-time Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter) where Bonamassa and Parsons introduced Asher as a rising artist and acknowledging his writing and performance skills.
